We were driving through the Old City Antalya tonight. Stephen was telling us how the roads in the city were like the ones in London. Simone asked Stephen if he had been to London before and his response was "...NO?! but its like the movie, The Italian Job!" and laughter was widespread throughout the van!
It's been a long TWO DAYS, but this week is going to be an amazing experience! We are all looking forward to it!

Well I’m sure you’ve heard plenty about everything we’ve done today...but here’s one interesting story! Simone, Kelly and I are getting married! One guy asked me if I would marry him and then he said "I take you shopping, I give you my life!"...ahhh...and he wasn’t that cute...haha! Then Simone’s guy was very good looking and fit! And he said "And you, marry me!" Then Kelly’s guy came up to her and said "Marry me!" It was so funny, we had a blast! AMAZING! Love you (mom and dad lol)

Yesterday (Wednesday) we went to a school near Kumluca. Wow, the boys there sure did like us American girls! Kelly and I were sitting down and they bought us drinks and we had our own little "groupies". Before we got to the school, we found out that we were going to be in a parade and then at the end of the parade we would have to sing! We were pretty excited about that but when we got in the parade and saw the grand stands, we were freaking out! But the parade was so much fun and we got to be on TV...and during the parade boys were smiling and following us, especially this guy we called blue guy!
Today we went to Topkapi Palace and we saw the most amazing diamond ever! It was 86 karats and it was found in the trash and a man bought it for 3 spoons. Then the Sultan found out about it and bought it. We also went to the Grand Bazaar and I bought some goodies. When we were walking home Sierra and I got lost but found our way and a guy asked me if my eyes were fake! Haha ok well we are back at the hotel and going out to eat soon. Bye

Aya Sofya is so cool looking! The stone and marble is amazing! Even though it was being reconstructed it still looked great. I liked it more than the Blue Mosque, even though that was an awesome thing to see too. We also went to TEGV which is an after school program that's free and there were two girls who clung to me! They were speaking to me in Turkish (I could not understand them!) so I just laughed because I had no clue what was going on! But they pointed to my eyes and said they liked them, so I guess I did understand them a little! We also gave them easy-to-read English books. Sierra and I read parts of the books to the girls. In the evening we went to a dinner and a show. The food was good, and the show was very entertaining! The dancers were so talented and then there was a singer at the end. We were able to dance, so of course we did! It was an amazing night that we will all remember!

Its the last day and I'm so sad. I love it here and I want to stay longer, too bad we can't!!! And our last day to eat pistachios together....and Algida which is the best ice cream ever! I'm in love with it! So we were almost able to go clubbing tonight at a really nice club but public transportation stops at midnight so that didn't work out but we would've if we had a ride back! But we left around 3 am (Sunday) for the airport and I tried to stay up till then but I couldn't .Then Kelly woke me up by turning on the light and I said something like "Kelly....get me my sunglasses." I don't remember saying that but I guess I did!
During the day we went to a fortress where we could climb around on the walls and stairs. The view from the towers was amazing! You could see the other half of Istanbul across the canal. The stairs were kind of scary; they were steep and narrow but a lot of fun!
Well Turkey has been wonderful and I have made so many memories here that I will carry with me. I don't know what God has in his plans for me, but I know this was part of it.
